Although I may not have professional training, I have had many years of pet care. I have been brought up in a family that cared for and loved dogs, mostly large to giant breeds. Currently, my folks have at their place: Peter, a Bernese Mountain dog; Sully, a Newfoundland; and Gibbs, a rescue kitty. Without pretense or sounding too much of a cliché, those furry friends are family.
